Marketing & Communications Coordinator Internship (Minimum Six Months)


Alpin Limited is a multidisciplinary sustainable cleantech consultancy based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.

The local team is composed of a diverse range of experts who lead their respective fields, including LEED APs, PQPs, official Estidama trainers, commissioning authorities (CxA), construction managers, MBAs, and building physics PhDs. We also have commissioning authorities and consultants based in Munich, London, New York City, and other prominent global locations.

Our current projects include: The Abu Dhabi midfield Terminal Building, The Msheireb urban redevelopment project, Johnson Controls Research Center, SKMC Dialysis Center, Sowwah Square Abu Dhabi and several other high profile projects in the EU and GCC. 


Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Support the Business Development team in preparing proposals for clients; 

·       Participate in strengthening the marketing strategy of the firm;

·       Monitor all social media platforms daily for trending news, ideas, and feedback;

·       Develop content to be published on social media and ensure consistent activity across all social media platforms;

·       Create reports from social media analytics data;

·       Design and present new social media campaign ideas;

·       Coordinate with content creators, and graphic and web designers to publish monthly newsletters;

·       Prepare detailed promotional presentations as well as documentation for award submissions;

·       Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events by coordinating with all internal initiative leaders;

·       Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends;

·       Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content;

·       Maintain, monitor, and update event calendar and remind relevant team members of upcoming events;

·       Attend and photo-document events and conferences;

·       Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content;

·       Promote company’s big projects/events/achievements by developing and publishing social media posts, newsletters and internal emails;

·       Plan, implement, monitor, optimize, and report on online advertising campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn Ad Campaign Manager;

·       Conduct marketing reviews and prepare monthly and bi-annual marketing reports;  

·       Monitor and build company contact list and Mail chimp subscriber database;

·       Design and standardization of forms and formatting in Word, PowerPoint, Excel;

·       Formatting and proofreading of documents and Power Point presentations (excellent command of English language necessary);

·       Ensure marketing goals are reached and that brand consistency is maintained throughout all marketing efforts;

·       Keep track of all marketing activities and document them;

·       Maintain and update marketing collateral as necessary;

·       Business communication (written and spoken);

·       Preparation of client directed newsletters and developing articles if required;

·       Media and Marketing Support.


HSE Roles, Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • In addition to your responsibility towards following ALPIN’s Integrated Management System, every employee at ALPIN is required to familiarize themselves with ALPIN’s Environmental Impact Assessment and contribute towards minimizing their individual environmental impact in the course of their work;
  • It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the Company’s Quality, Environment and Health & Safety policies. All employees must familiarize themselves with the Company’s Integrated Management System’s policies and procedures.


  • Master Degree or BS in Marketing, Communications;
  • Solid design skills (will be tested during the application process);
  • Previous Collaboration with graphic designers, web specialists, and other technical team members to create successful marketing campaigns;
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills are required;
  • Up-to-date social media and IT skills;
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive;
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience with social media content creation;
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and advertising platforms);
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices;
  • Confident to drive everywhere within the UAE;
  • Interest in the sustainability sector;
  • Excellent command of English language (spoken and written), preferably English as a first-language;
  • Excellent command of English Grammar;
  • Very high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms;
  • IT savvy; strong computer skills;
  • Good “attention-to-detail;
  • Excellent interactive skills;
  • Driving License and car. 

The following skills are a plus:

  • Experience with marketing software such as Mailchimp, Buffer and Google Analytics;
  • Experience with online advertising platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn Ad Campaign Manager;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing techniques such as SEA, SEO, web design and analytics, email marketing, data analysis and visualization;
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing techniques, public relations, and graphic design;
  • Knowledge of Green Building and Wellness rating systems such as LEED, BREEAM, Estidama, GSAS, WELL, etc.
